We were on the renting side of that page too

This is not a web design company that decided to talk to tradesmen. It is a tradesman who got tired of waiting on a web design company.

John R. Stoltzfus

A catering business, four rental houses and a vacation rental

Every one of them needed a website, and not one of them was ours to change.

Six years of sending a change off to a fellow and waiting on him. Six years of a price on a page that was last year’s price, and being a little embarrassed about it, because a man who can rebuild a machine ought to be able to change one line on his own website.

So we quit asking. Day one we decided. Day five there were two websites live on their real addresses, and we did not lose one piece of company email doing it.

Then a few people around here asked who did it, and that is the whole of how this started.

One owner running several businesses, every one of them needing a website.

Why the rules are the way they are

Every one of them came from being on the other side of it

What happened to usWhat we do because of it
Sending a change and waiting three weeks on it Your own person is taught to make the change
Repeating the same change two and three times before it went up right Nothing goes on your live site until you have said yes to that exact change, in writing
Not being sure who actually held the domain name Question eight, on the first call, every time
Being afraid that moving the site would kill the company email The mail is found and proved before anything is touched
A bill that was a surprise The rate said early, invoiced weekly, and every monthly named out loud
Paying every month with nothing to show if you stop No retainer, and every account in your name from the start

None of that is a marketing position. It is a list of things that annoyed us for six years, written down so they do not happen to you.

Being straight about it

What we are not

  • Not an agency, and not a team. It is John, and he is the one who turns up.
  • Not tied to anybody’s product. No platform, host or registrar pays us a commission, so what we put you on is what suits your business and nothing else.
  • Not old. This started in August 2026 and there are two finished sites to look at.
  • Not the cheapest way to get a website, and not trying to be.
  • Not somebody who will take a job he cannot do properly. There is a list of work we turn down and it is on the site.

If any of that rules us out for you, better you know it now off a page than three weeks in.

A tradesman beside his own sign, outside his own shop.

“You built the business. There is no good reason you should have to ask a stranger for permission to change your own sign.”

John Stoltzfus

Half an hour at your table

You talk first, we show you the two sites, and you decide nothing that day. Nothing gets signed at a kitchen table.
